What is the Teen Advisory Board? Author ReShonda Tate Billingsley’s Teen Advisory Board is a group of teens put together by the GoodGirlz to bring awareness in the teen community. They meet online bi-weekly to discuss books, goals, what’s happening at their schools, communities, sports, tv shows, movies, politics, and even gossip!! (A bit of everything) Even more importantly they discuss how they can help other teens realize that reading is no longer for geeks...a good inspirational read can do you good whether you’re that shy, quiet school freshman, your school’s fresh, best-dressed for 2008, or that gorgeous, ever-so popular captain of the cheerleading squad!! |
